8th Grade English Content
The focus in 8th grade English is to read, read, read, and write, write, write! This year is an SOL year, and we will take a Writing Assessment SOL in March and a Reading Assessment SOL in May. As 8th grade teachers, our goals also include fostering a love of the written word and adequately preparing our students to transition to high school next year, while encouraging them to think deeply about the human experience.
